After the February and March meetings on the nuclear talks between Iran and the six world powers, namely France, Germany, UK, China, Russia and USA, and before the coming parties meeting which is supposed to be held again on April 7-9 2014, the head of the israeli occupation, the so-called “state of israel”, Shimon Peres, is suddenly visiting Vienna on 30 March to 1st April 2014.

On 30 March 2014 Mr. Peres is supposed to meet UNOV Director-General Yury Fedotov and International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Yukiya Amano at the at the United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV).
It is not usual that the director of the UNOV and the director of IAEA cut their weekend in order to hold secret meetings and, apparently, to connive with officials of any country to derail ongoing diplomatic negotiations. Journalists accredited to the UN were not invited to the urgent as surprising meeting.
On the Austrian side, Peres will also meet with Mr. Lamberto Zanier, the head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and with Austrian President Heinz Fischer and Chancellor Werner Faymann.
It is suspected that Mr. Peres will discus with Mr. Amano and the body leading the nuclear talks with Iran how to impose obstacles on the nuclear negotiations in case Iran does not accept including its military missiles as part of the next round of negotiations scheduled for April.
11 November 2013 – The UN atomic energy watchdog and Iran have signed an agreement aimed at strengthening dialogue and cooperation in relation to the country’s nuclear programme.
On September 20 2013, Israeli army forces physically attacked Palestinians and international diplomats, who delivered basic aid to the Palestinian population of Khirbet Makhoul in the Jordan Valley. The Khirbet Makhoul was ethnic cleansed by the Israeli colonial occupation and the Palestinians were left without homes.
On Friday September 20 2013, on the last day of the 57th General Conference held in Vienna, fifty one member states of the IAEA voted in favour of Israel keeping its nuclear weapons and against a draft resolution (GC(57)1.3) submitted by the Arab States regarding israeli “Nuclear Capabilities”, which called on Israel to join the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). 42 countries vote in favour of the resolution and 32 abstained.
During the morning, before the start of the last session day of the 57th IAEA General Conference, USA delegates engaged in a systematic campaign against the Arab States draft resolution. US and israeli delegates were seen during the morning wandering the conference room and systematically meeting with all country delegations, speaking to delegates representing small countries which rely on US and EU financial aid. It was clear that the US and israeli representatives to the IAEA “recommended” to these other countries to vote against the draft resolution introduced by the Arab states.
The thwarting of the draft resolution on israeli Nuclear Weapons clearly shows the double standards of the state members of the IAEA towards the major issue of the Middle East zone free of weapons of mass destruction, which threaten the security of the whole region.
Why did the organisers of the plenary sessions of the IAEA 57th General conference delay the speech of the Palestinian delegation until the middle of the night of Sep. 19 2013, the last available slot?

One hundred fourteen (114) member states to the IAEA voted today Sep, 20 2013, on the last day of the 57th General Conference held in Vienna, in favour of a draft resolution submitted by Egypt regarding the application of IAEA safeguards in the Middle East. 12 countries abstained and there were no rejections.
On Sep. 18 2013, Egypt delivered a statement and requested that the Director General submit to the Board of Governors and to the General Conference in 2014 a report on the implementation of this resolution, and to include in the provisional agenda for that session an item entitled “Application of IAEA safeguards in the Middle East”.
Minister Dr. Khaled Tuqan, head of the Jordanian Atomic Energy Commission, addressed in his speech to the 57th General Conference of the IAEA held in Vienna and before the delegates of its state members the necessity of israel’s accession to the Treaty of the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) in the Middle East and to place all its nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards.

Dr. Shaul Chorev, head of the Israeli commission to the IAEA in Vienna claimed while delivering a speech during today’s afternoon session of the 57 General Conference, that the Arab States had rejected all Israeli efforts of peace at the IAEA and other international organizations in the field atomic energy, accusing them of using the IAEA General Conferences to “launch a campaign against Israel”.
He proceeded to accuse Iran of “repeating the same reports before the IAEA General Conferences and creating false information” about their atomic energy program, “using deception and concealment to buy time for developing its nuclear program”.
U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, who heads his country’s delegation to the Vienna conference, said that Salehi’s “words have to be followed by concrete actions”. Moniz accused Iran in his speech of continuing to take “provocative actions that raise legitimate concerns” about its nuclear program, an apparent reference to recent expansion of its uranium enrichment capacity.
