The
Palestinian Authority has spent thousands of the donation dollars meant
for poor Palestinians to raise US flags and impose new repressive
measures in Ramallah and Bethlehem, were the centres of the cities were
closed and restrictive controls were imposed on the movement of all
Palestinians.
Several thousands of PA military police were spread in the streets everywhere in the centres of Ramallah and Bethlehem and on the rooftops of Palestinian homes; Several hundreds of US Special Forces landed in 10 military helicopters in Ramallah as additional security detail accompanying Barak Obama during his couple of hours in Ramallah and 26 minutes in Bethlehem.
Among the PA preparations for the Obama visit, the PA removed the Map of Palestine carved on a big stone block from the entrance to Bethlehem. Dozens of Palestinians clashed with the PA elements who were implementing this dirty mission of betrayal by removing the map. They challenged the decision and fixed the Map in the same place shortly after it’s removal.
The Palestinian Authority believes that the map of Palestine is contrary to the “solutions” which they offer to their American “ally”. Therefore they preferred to remove the map from the entrance to Bethlehem so it would not anger the US President.
In Ramallah and Bethlehem, Palestinians were forced to close their shops during Obama’s visit while he was enjoying young girls dancing at al-Bireh Youth Center. Thousands of armed Palestinian security men, police officers and plainclothes were enforcers patrolling the streets.
