The thematic areas of this enhanced cooperation stretch from railways and energy-efficient green buildings to training of professionals by WIFI and the development of alpine tourism. For the full year, a new record high in bilateral trade is expected”.

From his side, WKO President Dr. Leitl emphasized in his opening speech the good economic cooperation between the two countries, Austria and Kazakhstan, where the potential is far from exhausted, saying that one area for deeper relations is the sector of vocational education and training, where Austria has lots to offer as a “fledgling European champion in the recently concluded European professional championships”.
