Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine founder Habash dies
POPULAR Front for the Liberation of Palestine founder George Habash died in Jordan at the weekend. He was 81.
The former guerilla leader, whose rivalry with Fatah founder Yasser Arafat spurred him to set up the PFLP, died of a heart attack in Amman, where he had been living since 1992.
Mr Habash opposed interim peace agreements with Israel, in part because they did not require Israel to stop settlement construction. Throughout his life, he supported armed struggle, arguing that Israel would not make the concessions required for a peace agreement.
However, he came to support the PLO platform, which calls for the establishment of a Palestinian state in the occupied territories and a right of return for Palestinian refugees.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is the current Fatah leader, called Mr Habash a "historic leader," declared three days of mourning and ordered flags to fly at half mast.
Mr Habash and his group gained notoriety for the 1970 hijackings of Western airliners.
The aircraft were blown up in the Middle East after the passengers and crews had disembarked.
During a 1976 hijacking of an Air France airliner to Entebbe, Uganda, four civilians were killed during a rescue operation by Israeli paratroopers.
The PFLP was also responsible for gunning down 27 people at Israel's Lod airport in 1972.
What is important to remember is this, Wahabism and violent Arab Nationalism and Nazism and Marxist Socialism (Communism) and the Doenmeh and Zionism are all joined beneath the surface by the Bavarian Illuminati Guelph banking houses and the Vatican's Banking and Militarist operatives.
